This was installed on 11/12/19. While it's smaller than my last one, I'm OK with that. However, I should have paid more attention, ie: the shelves in the Refrigerator cannot be moved. So taller, containers or bottles have to be put in the door shelves. An Inch higher and that would have improved things immensely ie: every time we open the refrigerator door even an inch it, very fast, opens all the way till it can't go anymore. We're constantly trying to hold it. Did you ever try to take something our where you need Two hands. When you create a new model, why don' t you get someone with common sense, put items in both the refrigerator and freezer. Then you may say, this should be at least an inch higher. The shelves in the refrigerator, where possible should be adjustable. Make the door so that it stops half way, unless you want to open it as far as it goes. Every Fridge I've had never had a door that doesn't stop. I've had lots of Refrigerators. So, I guess we're stuck until this one breaks. I would have paid more for those few important items.

We replaced a 21 year old Whirlpool Gold fridge, and had very limited options due to cabinet heights. Basically, it was Whirlpool or nothing. We chose this fridge as it seemed like a direct replacement for our old one, with addition of an ice maker and water dispenser. The drawers DRAG on the holders and I guarantee over time it will squeal by the rubbing plastic on plastic friction. It seems like I'm forcing it open and closed and causing damage. There is nothing smooth about opening and closing drawers which is shocking at this price point. Next the noise... Wow. This fridge is loud. When the water valve opens up to make more ice it's very loud and is starting to get louder after only a couple months. The compressor kicks in and is very loud as well. Ice maker periodically shuts off on it's own because the arm gets pushed up and won't flip back down on it's own. Thank goodness for extended warranties because I'm confident we will be using it at least a couple times within its life span. For this price, I expect more.

Nice and Cold!

We had to replace our side by side and are restricted in height because of the cupboards above, so we had to downsize from a 27 cf. The refrigerator side seems to be the same width and we were able to use a door shelf from our old fridge which fit perfectly (we need that extra shelf). We love the extra deli drawer, which gives us an extra shelf we didn't have before. In general, it feels roomier than our last one - except for the freezer side. It's so narrow (9x12" shelves) that there is very little width for normal items. The door shelf barely fits 2 chicken pies! The ice unit takes up half the freezer side. We haven't hooked up the water yet so cannot comment on how the ice works yet. We resorted to buying a 3 cf freezer unit to make up for those missing cf. Keeping standard measurements in mind for the height of the units would have enabled us to keep the larger size, but they keep making them taller! All in all, we love the fact that our food is very cold now! (Glad we replaced our old one.)

Overall is fine, but ice maker sometimes over fill with ice cubes is because the ice cub "slide shape" tends to make the ice cube slide to the slide. Therefore the stop bar is not push up to stop making ice cube, otherwise is a good fridge.

Appears to be a good refrigerator

So far, so good. I've only had it a month and am very pleased, the ice maker works great. Don't know yet if it dispenses water....I haven't checked the booklet. The doors aligned properly and the inside is well lighted. Good adjustable shelving. I got a 5 year warranty from Home Dnepot and will be happy if I never have to use it.

It's okay, except makes a lot of noise

I bought one month ago and I am very disappointed. The noise level is so loud and service tech has come twice and fought parts of refrigator that was not installed properly at the factory

Had most of it bout 6 weeks and waiting for door

Door was damaged when unpacked, new one ordered and still not received, Cooling seems to be doing alright, but installation needs to be completed, leveled and door replaced.

Nice for the space in small space in my patio home

I bought this refrigerator about three weeks ago and I am pleased with the everything so far. I have used Whirlpool appliances for years and this refrigerator replaced a Whirlpool refrigerator that was 26 years old.Hope I am as fortunate with this new one.

Love the appearance of the fridge but that's it!

This unit is constantly running and is very noisy. I read the manual and went over all the points it said what to expect, but this noise is ridiculous.

I love my new Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer. It has ample room in the refrigerator and the freezer is so much easier to store frozen foods than the bottom drawer one I had. This is the 3rd Whirlpool appliance I have purchased in the past year and these appliances are definitely superior than the ones I had. I am going to replace my GE built-in microwave this week and another Whirlpool will be my choice.
